I will not be purchasing any further slippers or moccasins until this problem is acknowledged and properly addressed. This woman stated that she had fallen over the loose undone ties in her slippers. ![]() Recently while shopping in your Voorhees NJ store for new slippers and shoes, I met another older couple who expressed exactly the same concern. I respectfully am suggesting that you find a way to secure these ties to avoid serious injury to your elder customers. This has caused me to trip and fall on several occasions and sustaining minor injuries only. However, I find that the leather ties on the front of the shoes and slippers are not well secured and frequently become untied. Your moccasins and slippers are some of my favorites due to their exceptional comfort and construction and I am never disappointed. They are very well-made, comfortable to wear, and hold up well over the years. I am an older woman who has lived in and loved your clothes for many decades. So disappointed in my lifelong go to for great, casual, well made clothes. But, I will not pay more for crap, which this jacket absolutely was. I am willing to pay WAY more at LL Bean, (and have been my entire adult life, 67years) for the quality for which LL Bean is known. I was expecting to wear this for many seasons, not to have to stop wearing it in under a month! I can shop at Target, Kohls, etc. What on earth is going on at LL Bean? I spent $100.00 on this jacket. At this point, maybe the 2nd week of wearing it alternately with lighter and warmer jackets depending on the weather, I noticed that there was dark lint accumulating on both of the sleeves, and the front of the jacket. I now had two gaping pockets with the lining coming out. Now it looked junky, cheap, and lost it's structure. I was so disappointed, but not as disappointed as when the other pocket zipper also broke (the next day). The pocket then was gaping open, losing the more flattering lines of the princess seams, and exposing the junky looking lining. Unfortunately, after 2-3 wearings one of the zippers on the front pockets, broke. So the jacket was just right for me in every way. I bought the Large, and it fit me perfectly. I am very busty, and the princess seams made the jacket super flattering. Returns are easy and you can generally just drop it off at a shipping center.īought a Sweater fleece jacket with princess seams, with on seam front pockets in "Sailcloth" for a 6 week trip to San Diego from upstate NY (snowbird vacation) I knew that the weather would be up and down, and it was. ![]() I have found LLBean's prices to be average if you buy it locally or online. I'm active so I try to replace them every couple of years or they get stinky. Clothing wears out and only lasts 2-4 years before needing replacement. ![]() I can't always wait until the season they have what I need in stock. I just go online now when I need jackets. When I buy jackets locally I don't like that I have to buy my winter parkas in Sep/Oct, my spring jackets in Dec/Jan and my summer clothing in Feb/Mar. I've never had an issue with returns, orders or customer service. With the stores almost always being out of my size I just go online now. While I could more than likely purchase their items from a local vender in my area I'd rather just buy it from them and get what I want. I have been ordering through LLBean catalogs for years and when digital became more popular I switched to ordering directly from their website.
